Page Info

The Page Info control serves to display additional information on report pages, including date, time, page numbers, or user name.

To incorporate a new Page Info control into a report, simply drag the Page Info item from the Toolbox and drop it onto the desired report band.

Use the Page Information property to specify the type of information displayed by the control: page numbers, system date-time, or user name.

Note

Typically, this information appears in the Page Header/Footer and Top/Bottom Margin bands, where the Page Info property cannot be bound to a field from a data source. To display dynamic information, use the Label or Rich Text controls instead.

Furthermore, you can apply a format string to the contents of a control. For instance, you can modify the control's format to Page {0} of {1} using the Text Format String property.

When a report includes at least one group, you have the option to designate individual page numbers for report groups by configuring the Running Band property to the name of the desired group.
