Workload Job Definitions

This page explains Workload Job Definitions and how they can be defined, managed, and monitored via IFS Cloud Web.

What does a Workload Job Definition consist of?

A Workload Job Definition consists of Data Sources and Argo Workflows (Actions). It can be scheduled or triggered for Run based on the requirement. Once the Data Sources included in a Workload Job Definition are loaded into the Data Lake, the Data Pipeline is triggered (Argo Workflow). When the Run is created and completed, the Workload Run details are updated accordingly for further actions.

Also, a Workload Job Definition can be used to load a set of Data Sources (without necessarily triggering a Workflow).
