Predefined Permission Sets¶
This page deals with predefined permission set related to Business Reporting & Analysis services.
Predefined permission sets are divided into two categories. For a detailed description of each category follow the appropriate link: End User Role Permission Sets
Functional Role Permission Sets¶
A functional permission is represented by a permission set of type Functional Role, a permission set that cannot be directly connected/granted to an end user.
Functional Role Permission Sets can be referred by End User Role Permission Sets.
To grant a permission set of type Functional Role to an end user, it must be added to an End User Role Permission Set that is granted to the end user.
Available, predefined, permission sets in Business Reporting & Analysis of type Functional Role are found in the the following table.

| BA_DESIGNER | Functional Role | Functional role that gives access to IFS Business Reporter design activities. |
| BA_ENDUSER | Functional Role | Functional role that gives access to necessary activities for a typical end user in IFS Business Reporter end user mode |
| BA_PUBLISHER | Functional Role | Functional role that gives access to publish a report in IFS Business Reporter to IFS Cloud |
| BA_REPORT_USER | Functional Role | Functional role that gives access to IFS Business Reporter report execution within IFS Cloud |
| BA_SUPER_USER | Functional Role | Functional role with access to all design and end user related functionality. |
| BA_UNPUBLISHER | Functional Role | Functional role that gives access to un-publish a IFS Business Reporter report from IFS Cloud |
| BA_WRITEBACK_USER | Functional Role | Functional role with access to write back related functionality from IFS Business Reporter to IFS Cloud |
| BR_FULL_REPORT_ACCESS | Functional Role | Functional role with access to all IFS Business Reporter reports |
| BR_EXAMPLE_REPORT_ACCESS | Functional Role | Functional role with access to all IFS Business Reporter example reports |
End User Role Permission Sets¶
Available, predefined, permission sets of type End User Role are found in the below table. These permission sets refer to predefined Build Role type permission sets.

| BA_USER | End User Role | End user role to be granted to an end user that executes IFS Business Reporter reports either from within IFS Business Reporter or in IFS Cloud. This role has access to all necessary functionality/activities needed for an end user but has NO default access to published Reports. |
| BA_REPORT_DESIGNER | End User Role | End user role to be granted to an end user that is supposed to work with report design within IFS Business Reporter client. This role has access to all necessary functionality/activities needed for a report designer but has NO default access to published Reports. |
| BA_REPORT_ADMIN | End User Role | End user role to be granted to an end user that should manage Configuration and Administration of IFS Business Reporter related functionality in Aurena client. This role also provides the necessary grants to handle report administration in Business Reporter as well as access to all published BR reports. |
| BA_BARS_ADMIN | End User Role | End user role needed by predefined IFS Cloud service user account service (end).Will be granted the system defined permission set FND_WEBRUNTIME. |
